The Weather Channel forecasts for North Western Europe are wrong. It will
remain cold and a cold front will bring rain and freezing rain turning to
snow as warm air aloft will be expelled. It was 10 degrees yesterday at 500
m, while at the same time people were skating on natural ice with temps
around zero. A white Christmas on the way? So I sent them this message,

Your predictions for Maastricht (and for NW Europe in general) are wrong.
Yesterday you predicted that it would be <40 degrees on the F scale in
Maastricht, yet it was only 0.3 degrees Celsius.
You also predict that in the coming days the maximum temperature will be <
40 degrees on the F scale; however, it is expected that it will be one
degree Celsius at most, and it will freeze at night. We may have snow with
Christmas as a cold front will come from the north and expel warm air
aloft. It was 10 degrees Celsius at 500 m yesterday.
By the way, wouldn't it be possible that you set up an international English
language web site that uses the metric system and the ISO 8601 standard
for date and time formats? That would make the Weather Channel a truly
global source of weather information. The use of American units in your
international World Forecasts utterly repels me. I really do not recognize
this American Maastricht, which has reverted to the same kind of measuring
units which were used there 200 years ago,
