Thanks to the great efforts of USMA in enforcing 
dual labelling of products.

While some companies have gone hard metric (rounding
their products to the nearest liter, kilogram, etc),
many are still selling the products in soft metric 
(rounded to imperial units).

For those companies which find the rounding to metric
difficult, can atleast put the metric first followed
by imperial in brackets, since it requires only the
change in label.  

To this extent, it will be better if the USMA takes
efforts to request the government and the industry
unions to put metric first with imperial units in
brackets.  This will prompt many consumers to read
in metric.  This will be a big intermediate step in
metrication.
