I have come across the following formats:
yy mm dd ISO and governments in Canada
dd mm yy The most common format around the world
mm dd yy USA and sometimes in Canada
yy dd mm A French mining company operating in Australia
mm yy dd Some Canadian bank cheque rubber stamps
I am now waiting to find a user of dd yy mm.
