I have a question about the non-metrication of Rwanda and Burundi.
For a number of years (between 1925 and 1960) these countries have
been placed under Belgian administration by a UN mandate. In fact
they have been a province of the ex-Congo.
Congo is metric, of course. Why would Rwanda and Burundi have
abandoned metric units and returned to old, local units ?
Has somebody some information on that ?
And what about Yemen ?
