Chris,
I simply think that it is good to know one's enemy. Sending such 'news' to
the group may mean that members who wanted to go there, will stay away,
as I have given them the new items on their site. This should mean less
hits for them in the end. I visit your and all other pro-metric sites as
often
as possible. I also think that hey are not beneath cranking up their
counter.
I cannot help it, but I found the BWMA picture postcard very funny.
I would never send such BWMA propaganda to people like Dr. Smalhout,
who supports them (!) and who even had the nerve to call Imperial units
international and metric units European. If I find out his e-mail address I
will send him the two articles on your site to set him straight. I rebutted
Mr. Smalhouts nonsense in a letter to the paper he wrote it in; I put the
UKMA and USMA URL's in the letter to the editor and not theirs.

Why do you give the BWMA this publicity? Ignore them! They are flailing
around desperately to convince themselves they are right. You give them more
credibility by reproducing this nonsense (and increase
their visit counts on their Web site!).
