Right! The officially recognized figure for the acceleration due to
gravity is 9.806 65 m.s-2. Saint John, New Brunswick, is a few metres
above sea level, otherwise it would be flooded by Bay of Fundy high tides.
Its latitude is 45° 16' and my 1937 Handbook of Chemistry and Physics gives
its acceleration due gravity as 9,806 63 m.s-2.
