Who would not want to use meters rather than points, lines, inches (and all the ridiculous fractions) hands, feet, yards, fathoms, rods, chains, furlongs, miles and leagues? Who would not rather use 3 simple base-10 units rather than a mismatched collection of French, Roman, Greek, Babylonian, Egyptian, and Syrian measurements in strange multiples of 3, 5.5, 8, 12, 16, 40, 72 and whatever else! You are completely daft if you think that the "British" system is more intuitive than simply counting to 10! Even the Americans are realizing that the metric is the way to go! The continued use of Imperial is simply a way of confusing people at the market.
