I filled out one of those blasted javascript boxes (or perl, or oyster,
or whatever) for Taylor USA today, inquiring about metric bath scales.

Here's the reply I got and my counter-reply. Fortunately, the reply
quoted the contents of that form I filled out.

Hopefully, Taylor will consider starting to include some metric scales
in their US distribution. More and more people I know are asking where
they can be purchased. I know that some of those electronic scales can
be switched, but that Taylor scale with the big white dial would look
superb in kilograms!

If they were available, I would try to talking our physics department
lab manager into buying a few of them for our introductory labs.
