To all:

I just came home from a local Costco. I was passing through an aisle with
toilet paper there. I happened to eavesdrop on a conversation between an
elderly couple, which was trying to decide which toilet paper brand to
purchase. One was Costco's Kirtland Signature brand and the other one was
Charmin. Their choice was to find the one which would have more paper in
the pack, since apparently the prices were similar. One had area stated in
sq. ft. (m2) and the other one in sq. yds. (m2). Guess how they compared
them. That's right, the only common measurement is m2. So, they had no
problems comparing the two in SI. This is especially hopeful, because it
was my perception, that the elderly will have the hardest time changing over
to SI when it happens.

Cheers,
Nick
