To all, I am going to perpetrate a filthy trick on Weather Channel, by asking Eurolines, the European bus company with which I travel to Ireland every year, to drop them and to switch to Wunderground. Eurolines gives weather forecasts but uses the wrong service, which means that Europeans who want forecasts for their European destinations are bombarded with garbage. Han Dear Sir, Madam, I saw that you offer weather forecasts for all European destinations on your homepage. That is a good service. When I go to Dublin with you again this June, it is handy to ask the weather for this city via your site. But I think that you have chosen the wrong weather site. Weather Channel is an American site for the exclusive use of those Americans who are opposed to the metric system. It offers weather data in American units only, like degrees Fahrenheit, inches of mercury, precipitation in inches and wind speeds in miles per hour. For years they have been refusing to allow choice in measuring units; which means the possibility to switch with a button between *International or metric* and *American* units. Seeing the weather data of European cities like Paris and Amsterdam in American units repels me. There is an alternative, the site of Wunderground com., also US-based. This one is international in scope, however. Like Weather Channel, it gives world wide forecasts. It offers a choice in many languages and it offers a choice in measuring units: English English/Metric Metric For these reasons, this site is vastly preferable to the other one and Wunderground deserves our support. It is much better for everyone who wants weather forecasts. In the interest of your European clients, please drop Weather Channel and change to Wunderground Here is theURL of Wunderground: http://www.wunderground.com Yours faithfully, Han Maenen, The Netherlands [EMAIL PROTECTED]
