At a local insurance office, near where I live in Canada,
They have clock outside that displays time and temperature.
It consistently alternates between degrees F and degrees C.

I spoke to the office manager, whom I happen to know,
asking why they bother to display degrees F, when
nearly all Canadians are very comfortable with
degrees C.

He said that sign was made in the US, and the way it's
been programmed, it can either display degrees F alone,
or it can alternate between C and F. There's no programming
to only display degrees C.
