I think this is a very important little anecdote. I
urge you to go back and try again and keep pushing.
Surely there must be a way to make it do C only. Then
pass on the details about what happens for the rest of
us.

And to everyone in this message group, what are you
waiting for? Let's each go bug some business only F to
change to alternating or to only. Or let's find a
business with the flashing sign alternating between C
and F and ask the business to change to only C.

I am convinced that hundreds of tiny little skirmishes
like this will result in winning the whole damn war.
