Dennis,
        I did find a partial answer in the Owner's Manual:
The maximum load of the Insight is 170 kg.  This includes "all occupants,
cargo, and accessories."
        There is no specification of cargo volume in either manual.
The cargo space is in the shape of a wedge with rounded edges on the top
side, ok for soft luggage but not enough for much more than two large
rigid suitcases.
