I just bought two and noted the quantity indications on the box, which
prompted this e-mail to HP Customer Support.

"I just bought, at Costco, a pack of two C1823 color cartridges for my 890C.
Two comments -- (1) there was an AWFUL lot of packaging (including a large
plastic holder three times the size of the box) and (2) the new package
design gives the capacity as "30 mL (1.01 fl oz)". The previous design just
said "30 mL". Most of us are quite comfortable with SI/metric and don't need
any reference to old, peculiar US "customary" indications to know how much is
inside. You can leave the "fl oz" off the next time you print the box and
save a bit of ink as well as help speed, in a small way, the end of this
archaic non-system of measurement."
