Compaq Computer Corporation is one of the larger manufacturers to have
adopted them as a de facto standard. They use two of the available sizes. As
three of my computers are Compaqs, I keep drivers of both sizes in my
toolkit.
Like so many tools, they use their own numbering scheme -- in this case, a T
(for obvious reasons) followed by a number. The T15 size is used for the
screws securing the backplates of adapter cards.
