And what is this suppose to mean? A scale capable of measuring in
kilograms, but set to weigh in pounds? Having a dual scale is legal only if
it is set to the kilogram mode and left there.
Maybe, these traders do have them set to kilograms, to be in compliance. But
if by some slim chance, the appeals court reverses the Sunderland verdict
thus allowing pounds, then the scales can be switched to pounds as soon as
possible without the costs of buying a new one or recalibrating the existing
one.
I would think this is what more the likely scenario. can anyone verify
this?
