My question referred to the prosecution of PRIVATE organisations. The
only suggestion prosecution is against a District Council, which is
very much a public body.

But I would not interpret "invites the citizens of Sedgemoor to bring
a private prosecution" as being a threat.

Our opponents have never let the facts get in the way of their
prejudices. We must be particularly scrupulous in being accurate in
our own arguments; pointing out the inconsistencies and disinformation
of the BWMA is one of our strongest weapons.
