I can't say specifically, but there are mass limitations on many products
defined by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Association). They specify
the maximum amount of lifting a person can do on the job. Therefore
packages must meet their requirements.

I wonder about tolerances. How much does a raw potato weigh? About 200 to
300 g? A 20 kg sack would contain less than 100 spuds. If one spud puts
the sack over the limit, is it rejected? If it is shy of 50 lb by a few
grams, is it rejected for not being what it is stated to be.

How does this work?

John

frei zu sein.

There are none more hopelessly enslaved then those who falsely believe they
are free!
