I do not subscribe to National Geographic partly because they do have
antipathy to SI.

I do subscribe to Canadian Geographic because I respect the nation of Canada
and because the magazine has excellent articles about worthwhile subjects
which can and do provide lessons for Americans too.  It costs me
US$28.18/year.
