I saw that site from Brian P too. Last September he figured on this list.
Apart from the nonsense about metric/SI he boasts in his site about Newton
and Darwin not using metric! Newton used Paris units. Indeed! When he lived,
there was no metric system!
I really hope that the news about Vernon Ehlers is true! The breakthrough at
last?
