Why would anyone complain about that?
If they're shorter, then you'd accumulate more of them for each flight and,
thus, get enough for your free travel or upgrade that much sooner.
Of course, your point may be that the complainers are innumerate and don't
realize the benefit. <g>
Or are they, in fact, complaining about being "shorted" in the number of
miles credited to their account?
