Besides, if you haven't noticed it yet, I've been busy trying to 'mediate' this whole thing on the basis of trying to find some common ground that all could potentially live with. I believe that my contribution would be more effective by doing this than to 'add fire', 'take sides' and/or 'rebuke behaviors'. Hopefully when things cool off we may see a more constructive approach emerge. I learned academically and from experience that there can be no conflict resolution when parties (or a party) may feel quite worked up yet. So, let's see if my approach and some more time will bear fruit in terms of bringing this to a satisfactory close.
