That's probably going to be one of the very last vestiges of non-SI
units, Baron. I doubt that geographic positions in degrees of latitude
and longitude will ever be replaced by similar spherical cooridnates in
radians. Perhaps, one of the grid systems with positions derived from
the meter will eventually prevail. That's just my opinion and it's bound
to be worth every penny you paid for it.
