Seminar 19 Metric Conversion issues: An Update
Sponsor TC 01.06 Terminology
Chair Robert A. Zagar, P.E., member,
The Richardson Engineering Group, St. Louis. MO
In the metrication of HVAC systems and applications, ASHRAE had and has a
unique role in bridging the U.S. to the rest of the metric world. Current
issues include, but are not limited to consistent and accurate metrication
of past design data, empirical equations, figures and diagrams in several
publications and standards. This seminar addresses unique challenges of the
present and future of metrication and discusses feasible solutions.
