The problem isn't on the receiving end, Joe. It's the email software that's
doing the sending that causes the problem.
I've received many very long URLs (two or three lines) that didn't exhibit
the fragmentation problem.

I plan to upgrade to Windows XP and Office XP in the next few months. I'll
be interested to see if Outlook 2002 can transmit long URLs intact.
