The Dixie web site does not provide for electronic feedback, so I
sent this to Georgia Pacific. I did call Dixie's 800 number, but
hung up after about 5 minutes on hold.

Sir/Madam:

This comment applies to DIXIE CUPS. I cannot find an email
address, so please forward it to the appropriate party.

I recently purchased a package of Dixie "Riddles for Kids" cups.
The label specified them as

"80 7 oz (206.99mL) COLD CUPS"

I would suggest to you that the metric units (206.99mL) could be
better shown as "200 mL". There are three reasons for this:

(a) The five-digit precision is simply not reasonable. 0.01 mL is
about 1/500th of a teaspoon -- well below any necessary
precision.

(b) Since you are merely stating the capacity of the cup, and
since 6.99 mL is only about a teaspoon, 200 mL is a perfectly
adequate specification.

(c) Many of the fruit drinks that kids like (aseptic packages
(small square boxes of juice) and "Squeeze-It" juice bottles) are
in 200 mL sizes, suitable to pouring into a 200 mL cup.

Also, please note that proper metric form requires a space
between the number and the unit: 200 mL rather than 200mL. You
can verify this at
http://physics.nist.gov/Pubs/SP811/contents.html.

Thanks for your consideration of this matter.
