I usually do the following. Get any hourly salary offer I get and multiply it by 2 to
find out what that is equivalent to yearly (in k's, obviously...). Conversely, I also
use my income tax return final figures and divide that by 2 to find out the minimum
"hourly rate" I'd be willing to work for! ;-)

Interesting. In reality for some reason in Brazil they use 220 l/person, with a
"standard" 500-literer for a "standard" family of 5.

? Again, probably cultural, but our graves are actually 2 m deep (not 1.8!) - "10
palmos", onde o "palmo" e' 20 cm!... ;-) For lenght, if I'm not mistaken, it's
actually 2.25.

Is that right?... Just a small observation, Pat, try showing height numbers as 1.70 m
(please don't forget the zero!... :-) The zero correctly identifies the accuracy of
the value that is supposed to be reported. Only rarely we hear people resorting to
0.5 cm increments) and as 85 cm, if they're less than a meter.
