I'll bet if you contact them you will get their standard .... "The people
who use our services don't use metric, and we are here to serve AMERICANS
who still THINK in feet, inches, pounds, etc."... reply.

If they start using SI in their documents or whatever, some moron is going
to contact them and in an irate tone ask them what is this KAY-PEA-AY shit
and then to take this GD metric crap and shove it up their ass.

Also, just because there is a law doesn't mean some sympathiser of FFU
working for the EPA is going to obey it. He/she will ignore it until he/she
threatened to obey or be fired. and I doubt it has come to that in any
government department yet.

What should be done when a government agency is confronted with their use of
SI, is to state the law that requires them to use it. And to inform the
inquirer that they have 2 choices:

1.) They can convert their operations to conform to the standards set forth
by what ever agency is providing the information, or

2.) Convert the information themselves at their own risk.

But, they won't, because either they are scared to, or they sympathise with
the FFU cause.

Keiner ist hoffnungsloser versklavt als derjenige, der irrtmlich glaubt
frei zu sein.

There are none more hopelessly enslaved then those who falsely believe they
are free!
