Jim, thanks for doing this. We use the National Energy Modeling System, which is the 
source of the forecasts in the Annual Energy Outlook, and so work with EIA on a 
regular basis. I raise the SI issue with them about once a year and get rebuffed every 
time. The usual response is that we should be able to write our own post processor to 
convert the output tables to SI! I forwarded your letter to some of the people I have 
contact with to emphasize that I a not the ONLY one.
