I have received the disturbing news that the organizers of the Florida State
Science Fair are planning to revert from centimetres to inches in their
rules describing the size limitations for science fair project displays. It
used to be given only in inches a long time ago, then, I believe, it was in
centimetres with inches in parentheses, and finally, recently, it was
changed to centimetres only. Now they want to revert all the way back to
inches only. (They claim the students do not understand centimetres!)
I am looking into ways to contact them and express my "disappointment" (to
say the least) and my hope that they will not take this backward step.
Are there any other Florida people on this list (or science fair people
whether or not in Florida) who might also wish to write them? Contact me and
I'll send you their USPS address or email address when I find them.
