Many subscribers to this Listserv might not be aware of the ongoing efforts of the Construction Metrication Council http://www.nibs.org/cmchome.html to support the metrication of federal construction and to promote the adoption and use of the metric system as a means for increasing the international competitiveness, productivity, and quality of the U.S. construction industry. The Council issues a regular newsletter "Construction Metrication." The current issue, Second & Third Quarter, 2001, is devoted to Metric Resources and is available in PDF format at: http://www.nibs.org/cmcnews.html The issue includes a wealth of information on resources for all facets of the construction industry.
