Dear Joe and All,

Yes, I do have a Power Mac, but I don't think this is the issue here. I
think the problem arises when I import old documents or fragments of
documents from the days when I had 'smart quotes' set in MS Word. The
imported quotation marks are unpredictable in email programs.
