I noticed lately that Utah had returned to english units in road construction. I was wondering if any other states have bailed on metrication. Last I heard the only states left were California, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico, Kansas, Indiana, New York, Conneticut, Maine, New Hampshire, and Alaska. Is the metric movement in this area dead? With America's economy on the skids lately, do you think that other counties will have move leverage to demand metric products from us? If so maybe there is hope for a new push towards metrics in this country. I don't see how we could be in any position to push our ways on others.
