Subject: units of measure on your web site
Dear Bruce Raup,
How very nice to hear from you. Thank you so much for taking the time to
write to us. We think you have an excellent idea regarding the inclusion of
metric units to our website. In fact, we hope to implement the change in the
very near future.
Indeed, we receive many hits to our website from international visitors. We
also send our tee shirts, books and adoptions to various countries. Frankly,
we are a little embarrassed that we haven't included metric units sooner.
Thank you so much for "getting the ball" rolling.
Thank you, also, for your kind words about our Meerkat Motto. I wrote the
Motto many years ago. Surprisingly, it has been more popular than I ever
thought possible. It was copyrighted some time ago by the Library of
Congress/Register of Copyrights. Our attorney had to provide the copyright
office with text, photos, tee shirts, and other material that substatiated
the fact that we originated the motto. Goodness, such a lot of paperwork.
Again, many thanks for your interest and for your wonderful suggestion.
With a smile,
Pam Wallberg
