The attack, which had been slated for February 11, was supposed to have killed 625 Europarliamentarians and dozens of staff members participating in that day's session. The group was based in England but had ties in Frankfurt and Milan. According to the news report, police uncovered a terrorist cell operating in Germany and tipped off the British police which arrested six persons.
