Good idea, John.  That would make it unnecessary for me to past m/s decals
over speedometer scales, but I would accentuate the m/s scale.

No.  Speed limits should be posted in m/s.

Distances to hazards should be posted in m (e.g. "Bridge Out, 1 000 m).

Distances to next city (town) should be posted in km.
