2001-11-20 Mine do, and I have Goodyear tires. They list the pressure and load weight (mass) in SI first in rational numbers. My tire pressure is listed as 300 kPa (44 psi). I still have to look at the psi, as the pumps here that have dials don't allow you to select kilopascals. It sure would be smart if the gauges and pumps only displayed kilopascals, as there isn't a tire out there anymore that doesn't show metric.
One thing of interest, I noticed machines of Asian origin and some European that still use "kg/cm^2" for pressure and "kg.m" for torque. I did notice on those that showed "kg.m", that "N.m" was also listed, even though it was secondary. I wonder what it would take to get the countries still using old metric to start using SI. I know the BWMA and there like make fun of SI because of the use of older non-SI units. John ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen C.
