> Just to give an update on my hunt for a watch. I ended up getting a Timex
that has a built-in compass. It gives water-resistance depth of 100 meters
and I was easily able to set it to the 24 hour format. It's nice to have at
least one timepiece in this format. As for the date it does not show the
year, so the date format is a moot point.
> I would like to suggest that we steer clear of Armitron for its failure to
show its water resistance depth in meters. It's a little thing, but if you
want metric sometimes the only way to be heard is to choose a metric option
where it is available. Other metric choices would be Listerine or Scope for
your mouthwash and Pert instead of Suave for shampoo.
