I think we need to wait until at least the end of January before we write
our leaders.  We need to be able to "prove" to them that the euro conversion
was a success and to point out the simularities with a mass of people
changing their currency with those converting their measurement system.

We need to point out that if the mass of people in the EU and elsewhere can
change their currency for the betterment of their lives, we should be able
to change to metric.  If we can't we are a doomed nation.
