Carleton and all,

Since I could not drive to St. Pierre and Miquilon I will defer to you and
accept that my road atlas is probably wrong.

But I have always thought that the countries called central America are
part of NOrth America as well as the Caribbean islands.

St-Pierre et Miquelon are on, of all things, Greenland time, one-half hour
ahead of Newfie time (UTC - 3:00). These two islands are the answer to the
good old stump-your-friends question: Q - How many countries are in North
America? A - four. Q: FOUR?? A - Yup, Mexico, USA, Canada, France.
