I've been following this interesting thread for quite some time now and I'd like to 
express my opinion on it.

As you can see from the renamed subject title I find it odd that watch makers would 
not use 24:00:00.  IMHO what should happen is once that point is achieved it would 
show it and then nearly immediately change to 00:00:00.  I say nearly immediately 
because it's impossible for 2 bodies to occupy the same space at the same time, but it 
could be short enough that would give us the illusion that these 2 points are 
practically the same.  One second is long enough for one to "experience" the "effect".
