I have just one guilder left and I still use it.... for a locker that takes
a coin and then gives it back when you empty it again. The lockers have not
yet been adapted to the euro. The last payment I did with old money was on
Tuesday afternoon with a five guiilder coin I had found somewhere that
morning.

Don't believe everything said in the media : effectively a few bank and post
office employees went on strike, but the majority were at work and this had
no effect on the transition to euro.

 BTW there is no more a single franc at home: Marie Jos� and I completed the
transition. As did most people in France and Europe!
