And, for the dyed in the wool 'tenners', it should be remembered that a
numbering system looking something like:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, *, #, 0 could operate exactly like the familiar
10's arrangement.  Ie. 10 x 10 = 100 just like now.  The only difference
would be that that '100' would equate to 144 in our numbers.
