Precisely, that's why I didn't mention anywhere to change the binary SYSTEM for the 
computer industry, but rather the NUMBER of bits they use to build their hardware 
with!!  This procedure would make a lot more sense and would be much more 
user-friendly to the user who are humans and are accustomed to count in 10's.

Yes, except that that is unfortunately not feasible unless one could create 10 states 
of nature instead of the only 2 possible ones as you pointed out above.  Therefore, no 
go!

Which are 10^2, 10^3, etc.  If we used decimal bits representation would be easier for 
people to grasp, as they'd be 2^10, 2^20, 2^30, etc, for 10-,20-,30-bit buses.  Not 
only that, the association of the new binary prefixes (the kibi, mibi, gibi stuff) 
would be more... transparent to the public:

Kibi - 10 - 1st generation
Mibi - 20 - 2nd generation
Gibi - 30 - 3rd generation

.
.
