Found the following story on Ananova: Residents evacuated after WW2 bomb found in garden
Police have evacuated homes after a live Second World War bomb was found in the back garden of a house in Surrey. Around 200 residents in Lingfield have been moved and roads closed near the site in the town. The device, which is 18ins long and 10ins in diameter, was found less than 10ft from the house. Police say the device weighed 50kg. The Army Logistics Corp are now at the scene to assess the bomb. They have thrown a 300-metre cordon around the site.
