Very true, Harry.

Our house, barn, and several other outbuildings sit on a square
plot of gently sloping land, slightly more than 100 m on each side.

We can actually *see* the boundaries of all four sides in the form
of electric fences intended to confine our two horses. We do not have
to *imagine* an area of about 100 m x 100 m (one hectare).

Within the square is enough pasture to fatten our two horses without
additional feed in summertimes of average rainfall.

Nevertheless, they believe the grass is *always* greener outside the
square. Proof is that they quickly exit the square and graze far and wide
when we forget to close a gate. Fortunately, neighbors are pleased to help
at roundup times just as we enjoy helping with their roundups.

Gene.
