Except that it is obvious the FFU is the base system.  Why not 4000 kg, or
4500 kg or even 5000 kg?  4536 kg is an obvious conversion of a rational 10
000 lbs.

I'll be more impressed when the FFU looks goofy and the metric looks
rational.
