Euro currency is denominated in metric primes like 1, 2, & 5 eurocents and the same pattern is applied through 10, 20 & 50 eurocents 1, 2, & 5 euros, etc.
If 1 can learn how to get the change/balance for 6, 7, 8 or 9 cents, then the same rule can be applied to get change for 60, 70, 80 & 90 cents and the same for 6, 7, 8, 9 euros, etc. Nice metric rule. If someone can handle euro currency, then they can handle metric divisions also. If every country has the same denominations, then the coin & goods vending machines can be designed for the same specifications.
