As I already said, in my response to you (which you reproduced in your message) , that I agreed that it was a "no no," you may safely conclude that we agree. The purpose of the message on the definition of "metrics" (in response to Duncan's message, in which he questioned the word's existence) was to show that the word does, indeed, exist, even though it has nothing to do with SI.
