As far as I can see, expecting metrication to go faster is expecting a 
magic wand. I do not believe there is ANY way to metricate the USA other 
than the "small actions" you don't think accomplish much. Our goal should 
be twofold: (a) continue these small actions to the degree we each can, and 
(b) increase our membership so more people are doing these things and so we 
can coordinate activities on occasion.

If you put in 3 - 4 hours a day, you are doing more than most, and are the 
exception to what I have experienced. However, I have a suggestion: spend 
one of those weekly metrication hours with your wife, and send the USMA 
$0.58 instead (i.e., $30 a year). It will help the USMA be more effective 
and will probably please your wife.

In general, this will not affect how I view your opinions on most topics. 
However, with respect to USMA activities, I believe that those who pay the 
piper call the tunes.
